We plan for 35 students per school, but 50 students start the school. After three months 20% drop out and the remaining students continue the curriculum. The drop out occurs when the students realize the Western world will not fund buildings, salary, musical instruments, etc. At the schools half way point, we measure the student’s sincerity. Roughly, at this point a third of the students have started their church, which encourages the other students to start their church.
In 2026 to help raise funds for seven villages to build a church building, we gave each village one acre of coffee tree saplings. In five years the trees will start bearing fruit. We are investigating ways to supply coffee trees for all Rural Pastors Coalition villages. The money collected in the current year funds next year’s schools.
